As high school sweethearts all of Brooke’s friends were jealous because Jesse attended all of her dance competitions.
It was easy to see why this couple was so in love. They just seemed so comfortable with each other.
We started off the day at ReVamp Salon in Uptown where Brooke was transformed into a supermodel!!!

It was all about the dress that day. Brooke wore a lovely frock that bustled up with two large satin bows. It was amazing, and a cake was created in its honor…complete with a smaller version of Brooke’s sparkling tiara.

The wedding was held at the Basilica of St. Mary, the country’s first Basilica, or so the guy in charge tells me…

The couple stopped at Loring Park for some photo ops, and a bit of Nicollet Mall people watching before heading off at to the reception at the Doubletree Hotel.

Amanda & Chad met at Nye’s Polonaise in Minneapolis. Chad was there with some friends for a birthday when he noticed Amanda singing “I’ll Be Seeing You.” Amanda was there with her Mother celebrating the life of her Grandfather, who had recently died. After singing the old war standby, Amanda broke into Peggy Lee’s “Fever.” Chad got up the courage to ask Amanda to sing with him and his friends, and after Amanda introduced herself Chad opted for the classic Bart Simpson line-”Like a man to hug and kiss?”
“Who could resist that charm?” says Chad.
After singing together at Nye’s, Chad asked Amanda for her number. She told him he’d better ask her mother if it was alright. Amanda’s mother accepted his request but warned him, “You don’t know what you’re getting into.”
As member of the Basilica Choir at St. Mary’s, the music was very important to Amanda. Amanda gracefully walked down the aisle to timpani drums and trumpets. The choir processional was breathtaking, and the music unbelievable!
Photos were taken at the Stone Arch Bridge by the talented Adrienne Page. Meanwhile, the wedding party had some pre-reception drinks at Nye’s for posterity.

The reception was held at the Edina Country Club, and flowers were by Fiori.
Amy submitted Amanda & Chad’s Featurette to the Videographer Awards and won the Award of Excellence for Overall Production!!! Yeah, Amy!
